Rozi Day 2 - Mljet

After a great nights sleep we woke to a fresh breakfast. We then motored on towards Mljnet Island. Got to the island around lunch using just one sail - the jib. Anchored and swam for a while before going in to Polace on the island. It is mainly National Park and we all hired e-bikes and headed off to explore. Found a lazy river where we floated on current between some tidal lakes - good fun. Some very old buildings around including a Roman fortress. Found a cute little pub for very cold beer before heading back to the boat. Tea was on shore - a specialty of the area, an “under a bell” dinner which we had octopus and lamb. Amazing feed washed down with a local grappa. Huge storms overnight with lightning and thunder, but very secure moored in our little cabin.Read more
