Epic day ride on Shodō-shima

Going on a day ride without all the gear is always a treat. First, we did some grocery shopping for breakfast and lunch: food options on this island are limited.
Dave planned the perfect ride clockwise: start along the northern coast with views on Seto Inland Sea, lunch at a rest stop, long and steep climb to Kankakei ropeway, sunset at Shihouzashi viewpoint and long descent back to our pension in Tonosho (65 kms, 1350m of elevation gain).Les mer
