Time Travel Vienna & Prater

Nice afternoon wandering the city. I visited an amazing museum called Time Travel Vienna which in about an hour taught me a lot about the history of the city. After working in museums it was nice to see something completely different - a journey though history using immersive rooms with automated dummies and light effects, VR, a 4D cinema, a virtual carriage ride and an audio guide to bring the history of Vienna to life. Absolutely brilliant interpretation of the history and a great way of putting information across. Walked to Prater this afternoon which is the oldest amusement park in the world. Interesting to walk around but unfortunately most rides and attractions were closed. Still made for a good afternoon though and an enjoyable last day in Austria.Baca lagi
