    Paris is HUGE

    May 5, 2022 in France ⋅ ⛅ 63 °F

There is so much to see here!! Just barely scratching the surface, I fear. We were out early and didn’t get in till almost midnight - what a day, but had a great time!

We started at the Trocadero park which is across the Seine river from the Eiffel Tower. A different view, and beautiful fountains. Then walked through the Champs de Mars, another gorgeous park built around the tower. Next was the Musee Rodin, where we saw so many amazing statues including “The Thinker”. Took a river cruise down the Seine which was very relaxing just to sit for an hour or so, and then walked over to the bridge of love locks (Pont des arts). Finished the day heading to the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower to get a great view of the city of lights at night.

Paris is amazing - so much history and beauty. It IS expensive, but yet I give them credit for not over charging in places they easily could. Most of the museums, boat rides, etc are only $15-18 each. Food is really expensive, but if you hunt you can find a $5 sandwich or $3 crepe!
