The cliffs of Lagos!

Two or three years ago I started researching info about Portugal, and began wondering about living or retiring here. I’ve spent dozens and dozens of hours looking at pics and reading about this country. And now, finally, It has been AMAZING to see in person all the places I’ve either read about or watched YouTube videos about.

Today was so magnificent - I can’t hardly contain myself. We started the day with a simple stroll down a path overlooking the ocean. We ended up walking 8 miles! The cliffs and caves here are breathtaking - I’m hoping the pictures do them justice.

Later in the afternoon we took a 2 hour speedboat ride down the coastline to see the famed Benagil cave (and others). Amazing!! At times, we were hitting speeds of 60 mph, in the ocean, in a pretty small boat (held about 14 passengers). It was incredible.Baca selengkapnya
