    Travel day

     It was another travel day - which is still touring and sightseeing, but just basically from the seat of a train or bus. So much to see that differs from where I’ve always lived. Even travel days are amazing. Oregon and Washington ARE beautiful, but this just takes the outdoors to a whole new level.

    We took a 3 hr open air train ride from St Moritz this morning thru the swiss alps to Tirano, Itay. The scenery was absolutely GORGEOUS, again. We had lunch in this little village in a beautiful valley, and then boarded a bus for an hour ride to Colico, Italy - which connected up with a train that took us the final leg to Milan, Italy. - another 2 hours. This is just a place to lay our head tonight as we venture on further down Italy in the morning.

    I LOVE riding the buses and trains here. It’s so relaxing not having to drive yourself. Plus, it was a great rest for our bodies one more day. Still haven’t quite recovered from the 16 mile hike.    Read more
