    Glorious Singapore

    Singapore is magnificent! What a city!!! It’s beautiful, quiet, so clean, well run, great mass transit, neat buildings, unique architecture, wonderful food .. I could go on and on. It is interesting tho that it’s so “perfect” at times I felt like I was walking around in Disneyland . You know the feeling? Perfectly manicured, controlled environment. Regardless, really nice here.

    We went to a Hawker center again for breakfast. The rest of the world doesn’t really have breakfast food like the US. They just eat regular food you’d eat for any other meal, but earlier in the day. I’ve adjusted. Then we wandered the Marina and saw ALL the sites: saw the Merlion statue, Singapore flyer (think London eye), walked the Helix bridge, went to the ArtScience museum, saw the cloud forest and flower dome, walked thru the Gardens at the bay during the day (night visit for later), hit the amazing Marina mall, and ended the night at the Light and Water show on the waterfront! Whew. We were TIRED after a seeing all that! But it was worth it and awesome.
