We took off this afternoon for a long hike out in the forests of Singapore. They have elevated walkways everywhere about 35 min from the Marina area. So we took the MRT (their metro) and decided to see what we could see.
It was very lush, green and gorgeous. It was also really nice walking on elevated platforms almost the entire time. There was a bridge halfway thru called the Henderson Waves - and there was a man there who owned numerous parrots. He was allowing them to free fly all thru the forest, just time out of the house and they were coming back to him! Kind of like a dog at a dog park I guess. Fun to watch. We went thru four different parks/hikes and eventually found ourselves down at another MRT station.
Hot, VERY humid, we sweat like pigs but it was nice to get out and push ourselves a bit. Haven’t done that for a few countries now.

Christie MitchellThey were doing air boxing of some sort. Exercise areas in every park - group classes - but only in the evening when it’s cooler, I imagine.

Are those cranes in the background?? Looks like lots more innovative buildings going up.
