    Waterfalls & hike (Naka Sendo road)

    Before arriving in Tsumago there are two nice little waterfalls really with a visit. It was hot, so I just enjoyed a spontaneous shower right under the waterfall. 😊 Although I had no clothes to change or a towel with me...

    Noch bevor man nach Tsumago kommt, gibt s auf dem Weg zwei tolle kleine Wasserfälle, die wirklich einen Besuch wert sind. Es war heiß, so nahm ich spontan eine Dusche direkt unter dem Wasserfall. 😊 Obwohl ich weder Kleidung zum wechseln noch ein Handtuch mit hatte...    Læs mere

    Shirikawa-go

    The old quaint folk village Shirakawa-go is really worth a visit. The houses there are so sweet and all around there are little light green rice fields. It's a fantastic place for a hike in the morning or the late afternoon, when there are no tourists around anymore. 😉
    I stood at "Ant Hunt", a very nice place with welcoming (only Japanese speaking) owners that made us all feel like home. Had a great time with the Taiwanese and Italian guys there! ☺️

    Das alte idyllische Kulturdorf Shirikawa-go ist wirklich einen Besuch wert. Die Häuser dort sind so süß und rund herum sind kleine sattgrüne Reisfelder. Es ist in fantastischer Ort für einen Spaziergang am Morgen oder späten Nachmittag, wenn keine Touristen mehr dort sind. 😉
    Ich übernachtete im "Ant Hunt", ein sehr netter Ort mit herzlichen (nur Japanisch sprechenden) Besitzern, die uns alle wie zu Hause fühlen ließen. Ich hatte eine großartige Zeit mit den Jungs aus Taiwan und Italien! ☺️    Læs mere

    On the way from Shirikawa-go heading to Matsumoto I made a stop in Takayama to see the old Hida folk village open air museum there.

    Fujiyoshida (Peace Kawaguchiko Hostel)

    Fujiyoshida and Kawaguchiko are little towns close to mount Fuji. Kawaguchiko is located next to lake Kawaguchi. There is also a rollercoaster theme park (Fuji-Q-Highland park) near which was a must for me to give a try... 😉

    Fujiyoshida und Kawaguchiko sind reine Städte nahe beim Berg Fuji. Kawaguchiko liegt direkt neben dem See Kawaguchi. In der Nähe ist auch ein Achterbahn-Park (Fuji-Q-Highland Park), der für mich natürlich eine Pflichtbesuch war... 😉    Læs mere

    Matsumoto castle

    I stood at Matsumoto just for one night to see the old Matsumoto castle. In the hostel I met a nice Chinese girl who joined me on the tour around the castle. It was really nice to meet her! ☺️

    Ich blieb in Matsumoto nur für eine Nacht. Im Hostel traf ich eine nette Chinesin, die mich auf Tour durch das Matsumoto Schloß begleitet hat. Es wirklich nett, sie zu treffen! ☺️    Læs mere

    Fuji-Q-Highland park evening / abends

    Luckily I booked the park entry exactly on the day where in the evening there was a long lasting Hanabi firework in the park - without knowing upfront... Due to that event even the opening times were extended for 2 hours at this day! 😀

    Glücklicherweise buchte ich den Parkeintritt - ohne es zu wissen - genau an einem Tag, an dem am Abend ein lange andauerndes Hanabi-Feuerwerk stattfand... Wegen dieses Events wurden an diesem Tag sogar die Öffnungszeiten um 2 Stunden verlängert! 😀    Læs mere

    Onsen Guesthouse Hakone Tent (Gera)

    In Hakone I stayed in a very nice Guesthouse, that had two different types of private Onsen in the basement. I enjoyed the stay very much and would have liked to spend another night there, but unfortunately it was already fully booked all the other days at the time that I booked it.

    In Hakone übernachtete ich in einem sehr netten Gästehaus, zwei verschiedene private Onsen im Kellergeschoss hatte. Ich genoss meinen Aufenthalt sehr und wäre gern eine Nacht länger geblieben, aber es war leider zu der Zeit als ich buchte an allen anderen Tagen bereits ausgebucht.    Læs mere
