• Fort Beausejour Fort Cumberland NHS

    14. september 2018, Canada ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

This National Historic Site is known as 2 fort names because it was named Beausejour by the French then renamed Cumberland by the British when the French surrendered the fort to them after the Battle of Beausejour. I took quite a few photos so I may need to split this into more than one post. It's always so hard to only choose 6 images.

Of course all that's left of the fort are ruins, but they've put signage with images to give you an idea if what you're looking at. I tried to incorporate them in the photos when I could.

We also spent some time enjoying some Parks Canada Red Chairs here too!
