Edmonton International Airport

Through security... Waiting to board the plane.
Keflavík International Airport

Landed safely in Iceland! Sierra was being bad on the plane so we had her turned into soup! Just kidding... we had a good flight. Watched lots of movies. Moving on to Paris shortly.
Still at...Keflavik Airport

We were supposed to land in Paris in a few minutes... but I'm sad to report we haven't left Iceland yet. We boarded the plane on time... and have been sitting in the plane on the tarmac ever since. IRead more
Paris Orly International Airport

Three hours and 15 minutes late.... but we are here! Waiting for bags....

Just off the metro.. ready to start the day! Cool fountain on the street corner.

Still as cool as I remembered it to be.

Grilled ham and cheese with an egg on top. Yum.
Crypt of Note Dame

A display of ancient, Medieval & more recent remains found under Notre Dame during renovations.
Louvre Museum

We saw so many things. We walked till our feet hurt too much to go on. Attached are a few of the more well known works of art we saw.
Museum of Modern Art

For something a little different than yesterday's museum....
Palais de Tokyo

We didn't go inside but I took a few photos outside.
Chez Bagelstein

Bagel sandwiches for lunch. Oops... forgot to take a photo before eating. Best I can offer is the bag it came in and my coke zero!

Big shopping street. If you look closely/zoom in there is the ferris wheel way down the street in the 4th photo.

Outlet Mall?

Just wandered here by accident... There were huge Lego display windows at the Lego store. Those Lego people in the display were almost as big as me!
McDonalds!

McRoyale with Cheese anyone? And pop with a bendy straw. Their monopoly game pieces are weird. It looks like I won 100 dollars of monopoly money. IDK.
Le Trocadero

Went to the Trocadero this morning... mostly for the view of the Eiffel Tower from there. Fountains in the garden were not on so there wasn't a ton to see besides the Eiffel Tower.
Liberty Flame

Replica of the flame from the Statue of Liberty. This is located right above the tunnel where Princess Diana was on that terrible accident that ultimately killed her.
Canada Place!

Just because. My Federal Government colleague's will be amused by it.
Bon Voyage guys !! (that's the extent of my French-ness). Can't wait to follow you all through Paris ! Safe travels. Patty Mc.
