Took a tour of the opera house - Teatro Colon - very grand & sparkly. And made from marble shipped from Europe. Among the best acoustics in the world apparently, so said Pavaroti. Then to the Museo deWeiterlesen

Explored the cobbled streets and antique markets of the old town today, ate some chorizo & pumpkin and Clare got snap happy with the street art.

Ivinghoe Beacon

First proper training hike. Distance - 17.92 Km, 293 m elevation, 4 hours 11 mins. Walked up the Beacon by its steepest slope. Boots are getting more bearable. Clare has new boots too.
