• Leaving Israel

    2 июля 2023 г., Палестина ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

The holiday is over, now back to save for the next holiday. haha Colin I can see you cringe. Dont worry I will take you on the next holiday and educate the country bumpkin a bit huh!!!!

Today went off for sunday mass at the Notre Dame in Jerusalem, The mass was in English and the sermon was very meaning full. Antoinette came with me and my new friends from Palestine came to meet me and say farewell as well to the church. We all sat together after mass and had a good catch up. Introduced Antonitte to Zene and Narder. The two of them were very happy as their daughter who is 24 had just passed her medical exams, and her fiance was also a doctor. They were going to get engaged later this month and Zene was going to Hebron to look for a dress. They wanted me t ocome with them as well. But I was flying out this evening and could'nt take a chnance at being late for the flight. Also Hebron is a hot spot for trouble, so wisely decided and decline the offer.

Then went and did some shopping and after that went to the holy Sepelcure church to light some candles then it was time to get ready for the taxi. Luckily the taxi had been booked for 5.30 pm but the driver rung and said could we go earlier. Which was really fortunate as it happend.

Got to Ben Gurion airport all good, went through the security check and then to the counter and to see my ticket was for a flight on the previous date, where as the reservation was for today. Not sure how or why but as it was a quantas ticket I needed to go to them to sort it out. Ofcourse there is not Qantas counter in Israle. the counter staff said go talk to the ticketing staff of Eiyaal, but the moron there says ring someone in Australia and get them to sort it out. Hello I dont have an international sim, he says then ring NZ. Honestly to coin the phrase Tits on a Bull was too kind to him. Luckily for me there was a lady who rung them and got the USA number of Qantas and then ofcourse your on hold, then finally got through to a counter staff, who yet again put me on hold. finally they com back and say I need to pay 150 NZ to get the ticket issued. Hello is it not your fault if my reservation is correct, but the ticket is wrong, why do i need to pay. But by then I was stressed enough I just paid the $ 150.00 got the ticket issued. The lady who had given me her phone had finished and was waiting for me to finish my call. After that I got my boarding passes and then went to the lounge sat and had 2 half glasses of red wine with some food. I am not a red wine drinker at all. But I was so stressed and pissed with some morons at Qantas.

After that all good, flight came to Bangkok with no issues.
