    We left our ship and rode through many small villages to arrive in Old Goa, the site of several UNESCO churches and celebrated as the Rome of the Orient. Goa was the first Asian city to be ruled by the Portugese. Today tens of thousands visit these ancient churches including the Basilica of Bom Jesus which houses the tomb of St. Frances Xavier, the breathtaking Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Cajetan that reminds you of the Basilica of St. Peter in Rome.Leer más
