    The flags of all countries who fought in the Korean War.
    We were choked up to see this statue of two brothers, fighting on opposite sides in the war.Powerful statue, symbolizing the division of North Korea from South Korea at the 38th parallel.The entrance to the museum. We sought to better understand the reason behind the Korean War.Remembrance of United Nations involvement in the war.Statue of fighting forcesNice sentiment of the role of other countries in the war.Uniforms of US soldiers in the war.A wall of photos of remembrance.Unfortunately this exhibit was not open, but it is comprised of dog tags for those lost in the war.The Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) by J Ram PazhaniyappanA neat walkway through the exhibit of color design at the DDP.The red.......and the yellow....In addition, there was a 40 minute immersive show which we decided to skip.A fancy tricycle.Part of the exhibit at DDPStreet food at the night market.The place to be on a Sunday night.Our Korean bbq dinner.

    Another cold day complete with snow flurries! We decided to visit the Korean War Museum and then the Dongdaemum Design Place (DDP), a futuristic building designed by Zaha Hadid, a world class woman architect. It very much reminded us of the Guggenheim Museums in New York and Bilbao, Spain.Baca lagi
