Akita is known for its snow, its beautiful women and the Akita dog. Also, rice products from its rice fields and the Namahage powerful deities that live on the mountain (trolls). We visited the Namahuge Museum where we saw terrified children being scared by these deities/trolls who chase away bad luck and evil spirits. Next, we experienced their loud stomps and loud angry voices in a performance that captured their annual visits. Next we were treated to a 360 degree view of the surrounding area.もっと詳しく
