    Blenheim Palace

    We toured the splendid Blenheim Palace. A National monument and home of the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough. Unfortunately they were setting up for a concert, but it was still a site to behold. Apparently it is the only Palace not occupied by a Royal. However, it sits on Royal land, which was gifted to the first Duke of Marlborough by Queen Anne, which is why it's called a Palace. There was an coronation exhibition on display as we went through the state rooms. Blenheim Palace was also the birthplace of Winston Churchill.もっと詳しく
