We explored the magnificent York Minster Abbey. Fact, an Abbey is thus called because it's attached to a Monastery. The kids had a quest, with clues to discover throughout the Abbey. They have also recently installed a statue of Queen Elizabeth II on the facade to celebrate her jubilee.Read more

TravelerI always find it amazing that the most magnificent buildings were built back when they didn’t have the machines and tools we have today. How did that do it! Would of taken forever.

Traveler What an incredible building. The floor is so intricate. The stained glass windows are a work of art in themselves.
