• Heading Out to Do the Work....

    Today we head out to the boarding school. Meet the man who is going to plow the fields for the planting of the sorghum and peanuts and deliver the shoes to some of the children.

    We had some setbacks as Elhadj's brother had been in a near fatal accident, lost his transportation and been in recovery for several months. Yesterday they were able to rent a vehicle so will be able to get around today.

    Also with the celebration of Koritae, which is a national holiday here in Sinegal, there were no workers at the school. The US equivalent would be Thanksgiving/Easter from the standpoint of how it is viewed and celebrated.
