Medvinjak

Up very early. Poor sleep due to reoccurring nightmares about the catamaran luggage weight limit!
Last breakfast on board, farewells to crew & passengers, and Eke & Anton. Taxi van waiting to take us to Split pier 11 to catch Cat to Korcula. .
Huge queue, but we were first! Just as well, as with some assertiveness we scrambled on board and Cecily bagged good seats. I was relieved to see that there were larger bags than ours.
The 2.5 hour trip went by in a flash as I looked out at the scenery.
We arrived in Korcula, back to familiar territory, and did small amount of grocery shopping for lunch. Cecily & I dashed off trying to remember where Konzume, the mini supermarket was, only to discover that we had left the others in the shade with the bags outside that very supermarket!
Maria Segidin our appointment owner had organised the taxi to collect us, and in the afternoon she took Cecily & me to the large supermarket to stock up for several days. She is so helpful! We ran around her supermarket trying to read labels etc and grabbed food for three days. Patio time snd gazing at the beautiful view occurred till it was time to cook hamburgers. Korcula has been designated a recovery destination!!! Euan had his first inkling of Covid!Read more
