Heading South

And we are off! Heading southbound to check some areas that none of us has visited before. It has been a full day with Fredrik prepping the bikes early in the morning while i am still trying to sync my sleep cycles to a Kiwi rythym. Left Christchurst before lunch, loaded on some chocolate springled coffee and drove all the way to the wrong side of the road!
EV driving seems nice cause u get the chance to stop quite often and try the local flavors, like the pies...oh the pies. This time it was a well known pie bakery in Fairlie where we tried a Porkbelly with apple mouse pie and another one with chicken, cheese and shrooms. Played some disc golf near Tekapo lake where the famous sky observatory is...what a place! Since the coffee didnt give full effect we took a quick dip in the lake, which feeds from the glacier...brrrrr, and continued refreshed towards a friend that offered to provide a room for us for the night.
