Capitol Hills and Beyond

Starting the day of with an extensive brunch including unlimited Mimosas. Cheers 🥂 A little tipsy, I decided to go see the dinosaurs and made my way to the Natural History Museum. There weren't as many as I imagined and they weren't moving. But maybe I have to come back at nighttime 😅

After the museum I continued on the National Mall making my way up to the capitol. Unfortunately, it is not open to the public right now due to constructions 🤷🏼‍♀️ But still, pretty impressive already from the outsight.

I kept walking till the Eastern Market and found this awesome bookstore: Capitol Hill Bookstore. The tiny shop was filled with shelves and the shelves were bursting with books 😍 Lieben wir!

As it had started to rain I made my way to the hostel. The TV lounge, Basketball playoffs and some fellow travellers made up for the perfect evening entertainment 🙌Read more
