The Cumbria region in northwest England is known for its beautiful landscapes, including the Lake District National Park, which is the largest national park in England. The county borders the Irish Sea to the west and has a rich history, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the Neolithic era. It was also an important centre for the Roman Empire, with several forts and settlements established throughout the region.

Despite being at such an altitude and in a remote location, the town is easily accessible via the Hartside Pass.

It didn't take us long to arrive at Newcastle upon Tyne, commonly known as Newcastle. It is the most populous city in the North East and the eighth most populous in the whole of England. The city is situated on the north bank of the River Tyne and is known for its iconic bridges, and rich history.
