The Duomo

The Duomo, also known as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, is a famous landmark in Florence, Italy. Construction of the cathedral began in 1296 and was completed in 1436. The cathedral is known for its distinctive dome, which was designed by Filippo Brunelleschi and is considered a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture.
