Day 57 - Zurich

After our long drive yesterday, today was somewhat of a rest day. After a sleep-in, I went for a run, and Rob went for a walk. We then walked into the centre of Zurich to look at the Old Town. We did have a walk around the Old Town and then walked down to the lake.

Today was Street Parade in Zurich, an annual techno music festival. It is one of the largest techno parties in the world with over a million people attending each year. We passed large groups of people in colourful clothing heading towards the lake for the parade.

We had no intention of heading to the parade we were catching up with Eli and Lapo for lunch. We went to Hiltl vegetarian restaurant, as suggested by Eli. It was great to catch up with Eli again and to meet Lapo for the first time.Read more
