Day 66 - Amsterdam to Brugge

Today’s plan was to take a short drive from Amsterdam to Brussels, check in early and look around Brussels. However, on arrival in Brussels, we had trouble finding the motel, as substantial roadwork was being done out front of the hotel. We were unable to get the car anywhere near the hotel.

After two attempts to get the car parked close to the hotel, we abandoned any further attempts and decided we would move on from Brussels. Fortunately, we could cancel our booking at the hotel without any charge. We then decided to drive a little further and find a hotel closer to the coast. So, we ended up in Brugge in a comfortable hotel room.

It is our first day on our tour that hasn't entirely gone to plan. But we were able to flex, and we ended up in a lovely place for the night.Læs mere
