Day 69 - A quiet day in London

Today was probably our quietest day in the past nine weeks. We went to visit Mel's friends at Toad Bakery in Southwark. Oliver and Rebecca have a great business that bakes fantastic sourdough breads and delicious pastries. Mel worked with Oliver at Ottolenghi’s and then went to work at Toad. It was lovely to meet Oliver and Rebecca and to hear how much they miss not having Mel around.

From there, we travelled on the bus and train to Oxford Street. We had a look through a few shops, and Rob purchased a few souvenirs. We then travelled back to our accommodation for a quiet afternoon. We are now starting to think about packing our bags in preparation for our flight home on Saturday.Læs mere
