Førde to Gothenburg

Today was a long day of travel. Our day started with a drive from Førde in Norway, and we finished the day in Gothenburg, Sweden. Once the fog cleared, we had a wonderful, sunny day, the first of our week-long trip in Norway.

The drive from Førde was a scenic journey of about 200 kilometres, mainly following the E39 highway south from Førde, passing through stunning valleys and alongside rivers before reaching the charming village of Dale. Continuing on the E39, the road takes you through several tunnels and over bridges, with dramatic fjord and mountain views, especially as we neared Bergen.

From Bergen, we caught a late flight to Gothenburg, taking us into Sweden. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Norway and highly recommend it for anyone who loves panoramic mountain views.Read more
