Gothenburg to Stockholm

After flying and driving for the first half of our holiday, we took our first and only train trip on tour today, from Gothenburg to Stockholm. I don’t know why we decided to catch the train, but it was nearly a six-hour journey with many stops along the way. I might have booked the wrong train, specifically one that stopped frequently, instead of the express train that went directly to Stockholm. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the trip with the sun shining through our window the whole way.

On our arrival at Stockholm Central Station, we had a short walk to our accommodation. We are staying in a hotel instead of an apartment for the next three nights, but we are in the centre of Stockholm, so everything we need, including food, is close at hand.
