Downtown walk, Singapore Discovery Cent.

Took the train to Marina Sands Station, then walked to Harborview station, which was about 1.5 hours. Saw the spectacular downtown buildings and also the government subsidized housing for low income earners. There are no homeless people in Singapore. Had lunch at an Indian restaurant near the Harborview station, then took the train to the Singapore Discovery Centre. As we were walking in, a fellow that was walking in front of us turned to say the centre was closed for a couple days for maintenance. We introduced ourselves, his name was Yue Weng Leung, Chief Executive of the Centre.
