    We went to Angor Wat today. I convinced Chris to go for sunrise so we left the hotel at 5:15am. The area is so huge, and there is a lot to see, we also walked over to Bayon Temple as well. Angkor Wat is an architectural masterpiece and is the largest religious monument in the world. It is 4 times the size of vatican city and was built in the first half of the 12th century. We didn't get a tour guide, which would have been helpful in understanding the full history of the site, but we just wanted to explore the intricate beauty by ourselves at our own pace. Came back and spent a few hours by the pool reading, then went out for our last supper in Cambodia, off to Vietnam tomorrow.Read more
