Our last post for this amazing trip

It is bitter sweet that I sit here at the Westjet / United Airlines Lounge in Narita Airport in Japan, writing this last post of our 2024 Asia trip. We are excited to be going home to see family and friends and to be in our own place once again. However, this trip has been a big part of our lives for the past year. We started planning everything in March of 2023, and we left home on December 27. 100 days later, we are waiting for our flight home. We saw and experienced some amazing things over the last several weeks, and it truly was a trip of a lifetime. Looking at my Garmin watch, I logged 1,588,761 steps and 1,280km since December 29 when we landed in Thailand (average 16,212 steps per day!) Here are a few more pics of our walk around yesterday and this morning. We packed our backpacks for the last time for this trip. We will definitely be doing that again for any trips where we are moving around a lot - cheers!!!Leia mais
