Fort Knox

Fort Knox up next. And no it's not the one with all the money! It actually never got completed enough to be an active fort, hence the ability to have two with the same name. We took a short tour and explored. Those cannons were giant! In fact, even though it never got completed they have shot the cannons in celebration. Those cannons were so loud that if you forgot to open your windows in Bucksport, then you had to replace them. That happened twice and now the town has decided to not do it again!Meer informatie
