The GypsiesApparently the river flooded in April 17. Lots of devastation to some of the pontoons and boats so they are just left there in their watery grave! 🙄

We limped our way in to Goondiwindi and are trying to get the problem sorted out. Spent a nice weekend on a river free camping as we had to wait till today. Here’s hoping 🤞

The truck was all fixed on Monday but to late to travel. We set out on Tuesday for a little town called Bingara. Lovely little town with a great free camp by the river that runs past the town. WillWeiterlesen

Glad to see you are mobile again. Those poor farmers in those areas. I had heard some places got decent rain but obviously it has been very isolated. We just finished the Kepler track with Neil and Emily. Four days hiking with a pack on our backs and now we wait for Karl n rest of the crew for our Fiordland trip. Cheers guys. I haven’t caught any yet but I have only tried once yesterday. There is still plenty in the Murray it was the Darling river that had the big wipe out of fish. The Murray joins the Darling river in or about Wentworth.

ReisenderGreat photos guys. Your hot temps are in contrast to us. We just got out of Fiordland today and it was snowing on the tops. We all had great adventure. Between all the guys we got plenty of fish paua crayfish other shellfish and venison. I am pretty sure Karl enjoyed it.
