Coober Pedy

We arrived in Coober Pedy to be told the town has no water. The impact of this is that our meal has been delayed to 9pm (now 8:30pm). We have an underground room in the Desert Cave Hotel. We then went on a guided tour around the town and a visit to the Umoona Opal Mine and Museum. Joy satisfied her earring collection hobby with a nice set of triplet earrings.Read more
