Still about 50 mins to Prt Augusta. Been through Loch Eel (where Nessie's cousin is in residence) and the infamous Snowtown. Also can see the Snowtown Wind Farm - about 200 turbines.

Arrived in Port Augusta at the Standpipe Motel at 4:15pm. Had some time to kill so went for a walk to the Water Tank lookout. Lovely 360 views. Dinner is a buffet tonight served at 7:15.

We headed up past the western side of the Flinders Ranges through Quorn where there is a heritage railway operating. The ranges are spectacular.

Stopped at Coward Creek for morning tea and ablutions. $2 per pee. They have a date grove and have set up a date product shop. Bought some ANZAC biscuits.
