    Day 1 - Arrival and staying awake

    We left Sydney at 4.30pm and arrived into Honolulu at 5.30am the same day.
    The day was spent doing our best to avoid falling asleep and soaking up the sunshine.
    The weather has been gorgeous, and so hot.
    We spent an hour walking to Chinatown, had a 1 hour snooze, and then a stroll to Waikiki Beach before a swim in the condo's pool.
    It was tough, but a great day overall.    Les mer

    Day 3 - Hanuma Bay & Koko Crater Gardens

    An early trip to the bay via public transport. The bus was very busy and the journey took about an hour.
    The bay was beautiful and the snorkelling was reasonable , plenty of fish, and i saw my first eel (just a baby)
    Afterwards, a short bus journey and walk to Koko Crater Botanical Gardens. A super dry site, very hot and arid. I really liked the cactus garden.    Les mer

    Diamond Head Lookout

    Another early start to try and make it up to the diamond Head Lookout before the heat of the day kicked in.
    It was an easy walk for me but slightly frustrating as i got stuck behind people who wanted to video selfie their whole journey. Grrr. Anyway, this girl powered on and the views were amazing. I was well rewarded.Les mer
