Today was a public holiday, Corpus Christi day. Birch trees were placed all over Kollmitzburg and there was a parade this morning before we left. That should be the video.
The ride was easy and past many small towns along the river.
I arrived in Melk, our destination about 1pm, , dropped luggage and head out for coffee and Scharzwaldkirche cake (black forest cake). Checked into room and now listening to it rain.

Went to a local distillery for gin tasting. A new adventure for me.Read more
