Cici's rough day

A squirrel was up the tree in the backyard. All three dogs were monitoring the tree. Two dogs gave up and came back in. Cici followed the squirrel as it jumped into the trampoline net. Turned out in the process of leaping and running she sliced her rear leg . We got her in and were able to apply pressure. Compression bandage
Trip to emergency vet, they were going out of business and no doctor. Then on to a new vet who immediately took her in. Surgery found an artery damaged and two flexer tendons. He repaired and sewed it up and she came home 3 hours later. She is able to walk, needs to be on restrictions and stitches out in 14days.
