Kim and gang just landed in Barcelona. I drove them to the airport yesterday. So now I have dogs, cats, yard, house etc.
Beau is slowing down but tail still wagging. They all decided to join me for breakfast on the patio.

Play adventures new home

Many of you know that Kim is a director at a preschool called Play Adventures. They are expanding out of the owners home to a commercial property. Of course both Kim and owner are out of country while renovations are starting on the site. So I get the opportunity to help. Today it is checking out the success of the weed killer, working slowly and open up building and grounds for the pest company. It is a former Head Start site. But has been very neglected for about 7 years.Read more

Happy 4th of July

It is 60 degrees and I am almost cold. Sitting on patio waiting for 8am so can do some mowing. I feel a "bit"guilty not being at the Forest Cove barbecue and parade.
Kim and family are in Spain. Very quiet here other than the sounds from the neighbors pickleball courts. Hope you all have a safe holiday.Read more

I had to let Beau go today. His lymph nodes were so swollen he had a rough time eating or finding a comfortable position. Not an easy thing to do but could not watch him hurt.

We made it here yesterday at 3:30 pm. Boys helped set up trailer. Then on our bikes to explore. Found the water park and the afternoon began ended in bed at 9pm. Had to have some time for smores

I just woke up and boys still asleep. Time to start breakfast,pancakes, and see what they want to do. My little trailer is a bit crowded but great weather so can eat outside.

Day 3at Jellystone park

So started today baking biscuits outside, then off to explore along river . Had ice cream as second breakfast, found a big souvenir store, and worked on the park scavenger hunt. Next was mini golf with souvenir golf balls, then off to water park. Super crowded so only lasted 2 hours. Lunch and quiet time now. Not sure what will pop up for this evening.Read more

Back in Merced

Came back yesterday after three round of mini golf. It was a fun adventure at the water park but really tiring.

Today is more construction and job interviews at Play Adventures. Plus grape harvest starting soon. So both Kim and Nathan very busy.

Donner state park

Monday I drove Elliott up to a doctor appointment and then on to Donner Memorial State park . We met Rhonda, grandma, and Dylan. I brought an inflatable kayak and the four of us played on the lake. Great day. Elliott and Dylan went to Reno with Rhonda.Read more

Knee update

Today I was able to bike 10 miles, work out on machines at gym for 30 mins swim laps for 30 minutes. Then babysat Alja for the remainder of the day. So knee is doing well.

Open house!! Had a great response. Neat site. Signed up new families even though it was really hot outside. Kids were having fun.
