So just arrived. Drive from Big bend thru. Presidio was spectacular but a little scary, the road made several turns and many steep narrow curves. But worth it, all along the Rio Grande river.

Visited the Arizona -Sonoran Desert museum.

Survived the night toasty warm under my electric blanket, so spoiled. Woke up to 27 degree and this view. But best part is no wind!!!!! ducks on the lake ate chatting away.

So I am mental and did their 3mile dune hike. They rate it strenuous and I agree. But it was fascinating to be totally surrounded by sand and no one else. Thank goodness for trail markers.The lastもっと詳しく

So rode elevator down and hiked out. Wow. Highly recommend the Kings Palace tour. Now to go back down and enjoy the standard stuff. Fantastic 3 miles of cave hiking and never had to crawl once. Theもっと詳しく
