Another busy day exploring San Francisco.
We took the hop-on hop-off bus that covered all the main attractions.

It was interesting but I thought the fans would be more into the game.
The main attractions were food, beer, catching the fly balls, watching yourself on TV and I nearly forgot - the baseball!

Off to Alcatraz - or not!

Thursday morning and today is Alcatraz day. We caught the bus to Pier 33 and found the only company that tours the island. No tickets until Monday!

Caught a morning flight to the island of Maui where we plan to have 3 days of rest.
Checked in to our beachside retreat and that's about enough for the day!

After a hot night (no air conditioning but a little breeze) we left for a short drive to the beach. Great spot just down the road.

Another quiet day that started with the regular check for turtles at out front door and then a couple of hours at "our" beach.

It's finally arrived - our last day before we head to our favourite destination of all.

Up at 4:30 for an early flight home.
A wonderful holiday but as usual we are glad to be home.
Wow what a trip you have both had......I need a holiday myself after following your every move. Welcome home and very well done on the organisation of the trip and the consistent updates from all places visited ....we loved it!!. GW
