    As food is part of the Japan Experience I thought to log some of our experiences.
    First at the airport we got our first alternative to the western sandwich the onigiri you can get in a variety of flavors in most supermarkets. This filled riceball mostly wrapped in a seaweed leaf. Definitely going to try More flavours as we go.

    "Evening" dinner we got at Kuriya, a decent into a dark cellar entrance lead us to a cosy authentic place where we selected a variety of plates from hot plate vegetables to meat skewers and a sizable plate of udon noodles.

    To end our wandering though the lit up streets and alleys of shinyuku we grabbed a coffee at a place that might as well be trendy place in Eindhoven if not for the Asian hipsters Working and hanging around in there.
