And so to Hobbiton which was pure magic. There was no overt commercialism and strolling around looking at all the Hobbit holes and the attention to detail like small ladders, axes, clothes on lines just added to the immersion you felt. I could quite happily have sat there for days watching the light play across the fields and off the surface of the lake. This would not be the last time I felt like this in New Zealand.
