Cold and long day

Such a cold and windy day today. After some ascending we've been in the clouds. Dog everywhere and wet. No hard trail, except so many branches on the trail. I've damaged the second gaiters.
The weather forecast was really sunny. And finally I was almost freezing. So strong gusts. Especially on the mountain ridge.
All the hiking had been in the forest. And after the beginning it was mostly completely flat. You are alone with the wildlife in the forest. No bar, no cafe, nothing.. .
Just before I filled up some food in a very small village. And charged the phone a little bit. Now I am searching for a spot to sleep. Lupo is very tired.
We are around 45km now. Time to rest!
