Friday for Future in my hometown

    September 15 in Germany ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

Today I was at a demonstration for "Friday for Future" in my small hometown. I think it was organized by the church and not by some pupils from school.
So grabbed my "dream equipment" and went there. After all the speeches the people opened the buffet (coffee and cakes) for networking, socializing and let the people mingle and talk to each other. I met some "homies", who I did not see for ages.
There was one girl, who even installed a "brainstorming wall", where people could stick post its with ideas, how to improve the village. That reminded me to my job as a creativity coach.
I asked the people about their dreams and let them draw them in the hexagons.
Even the priest of my hometown was drawing his dreams.

    Barcelona, Sagrada Familia and Beach

    September 14 in Spain ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

After the driving the day before so many kilometers, I was looking forward to get some ☀.
The Sagrada Familia is always impressive and something really special. I heard about the long waiting lines and that you better have to book an online ticket. Even they were booked out for that day. I took is as a hint as I anyway wanted to be outside in the sun.
I asked people if they wanted to draw their dream. But all people were so stressed in getting a ticket, that nobody was in the mood of resting a minute. That really reminded me to Monaco where Noone wanted to draw something.
I had been living in Barcelona a few years ago, working as a car designer. That's why I did not have the "pressure" of doing sightseeing as I know the city quite well.
So I could go really relaxed (by bike) to barcelonetta to the city Beach, what I really enjoyed.

    Valencia, my favourite building, ever!

    September 13 in Spain ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

I know these buildings from my time, when I had been working as a car designer.
It was often used as a background for new showcars as it looks so futuristic. And I am really impressed if I stand in reality in front of them!
Could be taken for a James Bond movie and everyone would say :"Nice 3D animation!", hahaRead more

    Towards Valencia, Hurracane

    September 13 in Spain ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

I had to drive a lot of kilometers. From Gibraltar in the evening to Barcelona in 2 days. That's why I had the lovely breakfast while driving, haha. Look at the Foto.
Some highways were closed because of something. I got annoyed by that because the Navi ran crazy and always wanted to send me back. When I was online, I read at Google maps : closed because of flood.
Later I heard, that because of the hurracane and the flooding some people even died.
So, my console to their families. I was not aware of that. Friends of mine sent me Fotos of the flooding taken from German television/news. They asked me if I am still alive, because I was exactly at that time in exactly this region. Probably I was lucky for driving at a good time. Only while I was camping I heard the wind and rain, but I was did not feel it as do severe.

    Gibraltar

    September 12 in Gibraltar ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

I was cincidering to do a 3 day kitesurfing course, but - what is really really rare in Tarifa-there was not much wind. So I went first to the most southern point of Europe (I guess) and then continued to Gibraltar. As I was not keen on customs and letting my car checked, I preferred taking my bicycle.Read more

Kayaking in Lagos and nightlife in Albua

    September 9 in Portugal ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

    .... Later more text..
It is amazing what is possible to do in only one day. So many impressions.
Get up early, look for a kayak tour, having breakfast, run to the marina habour to search the kayak company and then: doing one of the most amazing kayak trips I have ever done!
I I already did tours in Polynesia, New Zealand, Hawaii, France, Sweden.
This one tops probably all of them!
After that I went by car one hour to the east, Albufeira, famous for its nightlife.
    And the prediction was right.
Even drunk people, or better: especially drunk people have dreams, that com straight from.....unconsciousness!
One wants to be a fit bitch, the other cocktail and party, the other 8 kids (one brought into the relationship already plus 4 own ones).
Anyway, it was a funny evening and the party crowd loved that welcomed entertainment!

Day of hitchhikers and south west point

    September 9 in Portugal ⋅ 🌙 21 °C

Today was the day of hitchhikers.
First I was giving a lift to a father with his daughter.
150km from somewhere in the middle of nowhere to Sagres. Pablo and Carolina. The best thing: somewhere in between, Pablo asked me if I would like to have a coffee and a sweet, a specialty here. I could not resist.
I drove him to his house somewhere on the road, where he dropped his clothes because he had to continue to another place.
Then I went to Sagres and the most southern western point of Europe. This is special to me because I went here with one of my best friends when I was 17 by hitchhiking all the way down from Germany.
I had to drink a Sagres beer as this was cult and a running gag for us.
On my way to Lagos I picked up a girl, who seemed to have a long way walking in the sun.
It turned out that we were both interested in art, paintings and creativity.
I spend the day at one of the beautiful beaches at Lagos. In town there were 3 hitchhikers from Austria and France. I had no real plan so I drove them where they wanted to go. Just 5km. I know, that by foot it takes an hour and by car just some minutes. So I drove them to the lighthouse. That was a good idea, because I was rewarded with a nice sunset and a special scenery in the very special cliff area.
