A Handsome, Lively City

Frédéric Chopin once said "Vienna is a handsome, lively city, and pleases me exceedingly.”. I couldn't agree more.

This was our first day of sightseeing and there was a lot to take in. Being Sunday, it was a bit busy, but still enjoyable.

The plan today was to focus on the Christmas Markets, sample Glühwein and... eat. Basically the same plan we've had since we arrived.

The weather was brilliant, blue skies and a balmy 10 degrees. I had to take my jumper off 😯.

There was lots to see. The narrow streets and cobble stones make for a fascinating journey. Words to describe the city are hard, so I'll just leave you with some photos.Read more
