Permet to Korce

Today we drove to the town of Korce. It's only a 135km from Permet, but Google said it would take over 3 hours, so we knew we were in for some fun mountain driving.

There were a lot of hairpin turns, but the scenery was just awesome. I was a bit nervous because Google street-view showed the road to be semi gravel, but that was in 2016 and they had paved it since then. Whew!

Korce is the home of the famous Korce beer here in Albania and I can't wait to pay a visit to the brewery. It's one of the biggest cities we've been to so far and it has really interesting architecture.Læs mere
