Departing for Europe

Well boys and girls, this is it.

All our worldly possessions are either in storage or on our backs. Given the weight of my pack, I think I know where most of it ended up.

The family home is cleaned out and ready for the new tenants when they arrive tomorrow. I guess this means we no longer have a home for the next year...

Anyway, heading off to Brisbane now where we'll stay overnight to catch up with Brendan and friends one last time before flying out tomorrow night.

I guess this is where it would be appropriate to say something inspirational like... how the longest journey begins with the first step. Mmmm... nah... too corny!
