Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

A beautiful temple about 15 km from Chiang Mai, located on Doi Suthep mountain. To access it takes 309 steps straight up; no way with my sore knee so I took the tram instead. The temple has elements of Buddhism and Hinduism and has many statues where offerings are made. Nice chat with a Portuguese family but mostly just soaking in the peacefulness.Read more
